There's hope.

Walmart (I know, shocking! Is it okay to listen and not buy?) has listed a 30 second clip of the songs on the new album-No Line on the Horizon. Some sound promising. There are also a few more lyrics to cringe at. I will look forward to a few anyway.

There were some redeemable qualities in some of the songs. They're just trying way, way too hard. It's like some weird version of Ani Difranco or Peter, Paul & Mary mixed with almost good musical riffs.
Even the title of the album is didactic, sheesh.

While it may be true that they have given up some of the irony they had with their ever present didacticism, I still do think they are capable of producing great stuff and will still buy the album when it comes out.
I'm looking forward to moment of surrender along with stand up comedy and unknown caller.

The word verification below is "lorplify." What is a lorple and how does one make a lorple?
