Wow, haven't posted in a while. Things got really busy with some difficult questions to write for the exams for my job and now the holidays have started, I get to cook a bunch. The favorite thing I make for Thanksgiving is my angel-flake biscuits. Yummy. Well, I might not post for a while. Happy Thanksgiving.

Actually I think the previous post's video fits the Excel class I have been taking for the last two weeks. It is with a lot of older faculty who don't really know the most about computers or shortcuts. They are a lot like the guy.
Another thing I've decided because of these classes on Excel: no wonder the business world is so heartless (excuse any business people out there)! Excel makes it so extremely easy to reduce people to numbers! They become just a set of numbers that you can easily rank in any number of ways and then fire the bottom three neatly highlighted in green because of a mathmatical calculation. It surprised me that I got kind-of riled up inside when we created these "business" charts. Anyhoo. This is a bit extreme, but it didn't help the animosity I gained during my undergrad for the business school.

I've had to have several additional trainings for my job that the company feels is necessary. It reminded me of this help-desk skit.



Oh and it's pretty cool that it's in Swedish and I can understand some of it.

Just to let you all know that I have a good reason for my Bono crush, I am posting this picture. I know not many of you will have seen pictures of me when I was young, but I looked a lot like Ali, his wife, here in this picture. See, we were meant to be together:) (My hair even feathers great, just like hers.)

I love going to Denny's and ordering hot chocolate and just sitting there for a long time talking to whoever I'm with.
