I've already posted about Thriller being something I was obsessed with as a kid. So instead, I thought I would start a poll so you could vote on your favorite Michael Jackson songs.

My brother got married last Saturday. Despite rain and wind for the pictures and frantically moving the reception indoors due to thunder, lightning, and rain, it was a great. The family visiting was great. It was all a wild strawberry.
Now back to reality in all its temporary ugliness (hopefully only another month).

So its my brother's wedding this Saturday and the family starts pouring in tomorrow. I wish my mom luck with all of the chaos. It is a very happy event, nonetheless.

I added a new site to my favorites list on the side there. It hasn't been working lately, but if it does, prepare to laugh pretty hard at what some families do.

This is being a little too close to your pet for comfort.



Because I have worked at a domestic violence shelter for two years, I shouldn't find this funny, but I do. Or maybe it works on a Seinfeld level, where he talks about how he is Jewish so he can make Jewish jokes... because I have worked in those circles, been involved with that, I can find it funny.



Boy, I sure do blog more when I have lost hope on my thesis.

This is pretty sweet. I am currently getting paid to update my blog, check my new phone account, and learn more about U2. I am on a conference call for work and they are having technical difficulties, so we are free to do what we want while they fix it, and get paid for it.

After having yet another draft rejected by my thesis committee, I am really wishing I had stuck with my high school love of chemistry. Oh wait, there's math involved.

I turned in another major revision of my thesis and got the assignment work had given me done and it's Friday and it's time to party!

I thought I would post a version of one of my favorite songs by Dolly Parton. I don't know many, but I like this one.
