I got a job today writing test questions for an online university. I work from home, they pay me per question, and it is completely on my own time to do it. That could be good or bad. It leaves my schedule wide open for emergency babysitting and for thesis. But it also leaves my schedule wide open for wasting time. We'll see which I choose. It will be nice to have a little something coming in though.

That sounds like a great job!! What's your thesis about?
My thesis is on how Hawthorne. I chose two of his novels (not The Scarlet Letter-hasn't enough been done on that one already?) and I look how he frames his narrative structure to represent certain people, like lower classes, etc. I still enjoy the research part; I just hate the writing.
Job sounds awesome! I need to find something like that. Hope the thesis is chugging along and that you can almost say "I'm done." What's Lisa up to?
Next time they offer it, I'll let you know. It is a temporary thing that comes and goes when they need it. Lisa has been doing this too. She heard about it through her sister in law, and then told me about it. She is also looking for more permanent work. I'm so glad the move went okay for you.
