There is a minor parallel between Wuthering Heights and A Room With a View. In the first one, Cathy rejects Heathcliff for Edgar and in the second the Cathy character (Lucy) ends up accepting the Heathcliff character (George-he is much nicer than Heathcliff) and rejects the Linton character (Cecil) (after their engagement though).
